Playing follow the leader....
Climbing to Alpine lakes....
Gazing into crystal cold blue water....
Seeing the Sawtooth range and the Salmon River drainage in glorious sunlight...
Camped at Red Fish Lake... another deep clear glacial lake...
Walked along Red Fish Creek (Red for the salmon that used to come by the thousands to spawn here... now the few hundred that come are caught, and their eggs are harvested at the hatchery, where the young fish grow in clean water to be sent to the sea... damns farther west keep them out)
Watched a thunderstorm blow through while standing at the museum in Stanley, ID (the most beautiful place on earth)
Made a little book from a portrait cover my eldest discarded at Christmas... she kept the pictures
Made another one from some of the art supplies I'd brought with me....
Made all these, and one sad one, not pictured.... While I have tried to be productive and keep making books, I think my quality has slipped on some of these. Good thing you learn from your mistakes... right?
